Mobile app prototype and strategy for social news platform




Banjo’s social content platform organizes the world’s social news and events by location, giving users access to what’s happening anywhere in the world, in real time. While the platform provides content to major media outlets, the consumer-facing mobile app had become outdated and in need of a redesign. The proposed iOS redesign would learn from user behavior and allow users to personalize the content they want to interact with while still providing a degree of discovery. The redesign would harness the vibrancy and immediacy of an active social community throughout the experience with tagging, timestamping and liking.
